    In 1998, Tod and Dean English started an embroidery division as part of their successful sporting goods store. Their sister Lisanne joined the team two years later as the sales manager for the embroidery and promotional division. Due to demand from local businesses, the new division expanded and evolved into what is now known as Inspire Incentives.

    Inspire Incentives grew out of a passion for sports. Through involvement with community sports leagues, owning the sporting goods store, and a growing demand for embroidered goods, the family envisioned a company that provided custom embroidery services and promotional items to business owners, organizations, and sports teams in small communities on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island.

    Inspire Incentives is a family based business founded in 2000 by Tod, Lisanne and Dean English. The family had a vision of a company that provided embroidery services and promotional items to business owners in small communities who felt that they were not receiving the level of service they desired from existing promotional companies. Inspire believes in providing high quality items, quick turn around times and competitive pricing, while continuing to focus on impeccable customer service.

    The company grew out of a passion for sports. Through involvement with various community sports leagues and owning a sporting goods store, the English family saw a demand for embroidered sporting goods for teams in Powell River. The business expanded over the next couple years due to the demand from local businesses and the English family saw an opportunity to expand into other communities on the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island that had similar needs and wanted one-on-one customer service.
